Title: Increase in stats vs heroic stats
Post by: bobokatt1970 on April 14, 2010, 06:22:49 PM
So the new AA's which allow us to increase our stats (5 per AA), are no where near as good as actually get say 5 heroic stats correct? In other words increasing my strength cap by 5 is not as good as getting gear that has 5 heroic strength or are they pretty much the same benefit wise?

Heroic stats - Increase cap for stat, add that amount to stat, and give special added effect of heroic stat x number of heroic stat
New AA - Increase cap for stat, and if you have extra of that stat from items...  you get the regular effect from that stat.

Let's take the only one I remember, which was heroic int.
Int increases your mana pool for int casters.
Heroic int will increase the mana pool by the same amount as an equal amount of int, then add more bonus mana pool if my understanding was correct as I was told.

Someone else may know the "added" effects of each heroic stat.  However, I'm 99.9% sure heroic stats > regular stats.

Makes sense.  Thank you, I found some info in regards to heroics now -- seems to be quite the dif.
