Which focus upgrade?

Fero6 (no min hit mod) to Fero8?  or -

Poison focus 55% to 80%?

Thanks for any input!  I'm leaning one way (fero), but wanted some advice.

(Or, I guess, Cleave 6 to Cleave8 is another possibility.)

Fero 6 is Ferocity VI which does not have the 200% min dmg mod, Ferocity VII (7) is the first to have that mod. I would go for the Nuke focus myself, that 200% min dmg mod is probably at most 20-25 DPS upgrade, don't have numbers but doesn't seem it will outdo a 12.5% (the average increase you would see with a 25% focus jump) increase in Bite dmg, but I could be wrong.

The DPS jump from Fero6 to 8 was decent for me.  I would go that way personally, I could be wrong, but I would think that the DPS gained from constant swings would be more than the damage gained from spells.  Without parses you will never really know.

using the average figure is likely very accurate.  The min dmg increase is a minor something now... if only it would increase the top dmg =/

tbh, I'd actually changed my solteris leggings over to the t5 sod group legs a while back bcs the only difference was that min dmg mod.. and I was still performing quite well.

I wound up going with the poison focus.  Getting Frozen Venom tipped the scales for my decision.  Also, it should be easier for me to get a different Fero7+ item down the road, but soonish, than an 80% poison focus.
