The expedition zone reached from Nedaria's Landing.  I've heard all the things about the lag being horrible, about how it's really easy at low levels but nearly impossible (solo) at 65.  Anyone have any links or guides of their own about this zone?  The page at Allakhazam (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/zones.html?zstrat=258) has some information (such as maybe it's not so bad at 65 if your Taelosian faction is good) but I am hoping there's a bit more.

Checked this zone out today.  Im level 65 with ally Nihil faction.  

The bats and rats all conned indifferent.  I was able to single pull no problem, never got an add.  Even when mob would turn and path back into the room, I was able to follow and beat on it with no adds.

There is a third room with a mixture of bats, rats and stonemen (don't remember the correct name).  Pulled a stoneman and a second added.  Don't know if rats and bats in this mixed room are social or not, didn't try after the stoneguy added.  

AA exp was 5% a kill.  

If your bored and looking for something different, go for it.  Lots of AA exp per kill, but slow kills, better exp elsewhere solo.

My 3-box group might like this so long as there is no 7 level limit (the cleric is 12 levels behind my necro  :? )

Anyone know if the 7-level limit applies to this zone also? Although, come to think of it, I never bought GoD but maybe I will one of these days anyways. Never hurts to know  :lol: !

Just tried it.  At level 65, the huntable mobs (assuming you have enough sense to leave the guards and other NPC's alone) range from about level 60 up to white at level 65.  Although mobs were in tight groups, I was able to single pull one blue rat.  No surprises or procs, but was way too tough for bazaar-geared 40aa's BST.  I got it down to 50% and then had to zone before it finished me off.  If I had planned better and used all discs and Paragon, I might have been able to take it.  But even if I could, one every 15 minutes isn't worth it.

I could try bringing a group, but it looks like a pretty dull zone - pretty halls, but huntable mobs just sitting bunched up in small rooms - bleh.  Does anybody know if there are any good drops here?

As far as I know, this zone may work like LDON, mob level based on average group member level.  If the 7-level limit doesn't apply, maybe if you ask somebody level 50 to group with you (or have a lowbie 2 box), I wonder if it's possible to get the level set so the mobs would be around level 55 or so?

As far as I can tell once you create the expedition you can anyone in.  I started one solo.  Added my friend Wanolena's druid and when I was very close to a ding she dropped the 40 druid and got her 51 pally in to PL the last blue.

Drops?  Rat whiskers and ears mostly.  I save them and have my lowbie alt turn in for coin and faction.

And the kills were managable until I hit 38 and it felt like I smacked a stone wall.  I haven't been on in a few nights tho.  I'll have to see if it was the sucky pet or just harder mobs.
