Anyone else notice that bestial alignment is now no longer blocked by wurine. No more having to click the illusion off before hitting bestial alignment, although you revert back to your racial form when it fades.

My only problem is, I can't remember which one, but I think it might be our discipline, if not frenzy of spirit or bestial alignment, strips Growl of the Leapord... I understand stack overwriting, but I lose 800 max hp, and some heal overtime when I need to burn >< lol.
Empathic Fury kills Growl of the Leopard/Puma, because the damage mod portions don't stack.
Heck I don't even have empathic fury, I was talking about Beastial fury. But shoot, even less reason for me to try to work my way to getting empathic fury? D'oh...
Empathic Fury is by far an upgrade over Bestial Fury. It hits your pet and has a crit modifier. If you're really worried about doubling your melee damage vs. 800 HP and some regen, you probably have bigger things to worry about =P
Nah, my main reason not to get it is: even though I'm 72, I can't solo the quest, almost 210% guaranteed, unless I could shroud down to level 60 and accept the quest, gate back, then run and do the quest? would it be marginally easier? or... if you have to be 69+... I could shroud to 70, get my two other level 70 accounts, shroud them down to level 60... I cannot three box, my computer would explode, but I can leave them logged on for a couple minutes at the same time. But it's on the same timer as Beastial fury? That sorta blows, yeah I'ld rather use empathic than beastial, but I don't like it when my toys get taken away, even if they're replaced...
Oh well, like Rake, I have a feeling I won't be getting this skill. (Though I'm going to give it one more shot when my weekly rez ability repops)
So yeah, I write it off as "Well, at least I can keep growl up then..." as my reason to not feel as bad about being gimped on another skill that I'm missing heh.
Rake should be soloable...if not now, soon. You just need to be very cautious. The mobs are very weak as individuals.
Empathic Fury - I don't know if I'd be trying to get the groups together for this yet, as there *might* be an upgrade in the next expansion. I hope there is...DoD is getting a bit dated (and there'll have been a 15 level difference).
I don't know if that whole shrouding down thing would do anything for you...I've never heard that at least. Using shrouds would be a quick way to a lose on that quest arc.
And I agree 10000% w/ Inph - losing the miniscule HP regen from Growl in no way whatsoever is a valid reason to not try for Empathic Fury.

Not that I've ever heard of....I know I was able to do DoD spell tasks in mid70s, though I have not done the 69 arc.
I never knew much aobut that arc of tasks nor could I ever really find the groups to do them. If when this new expansion comes out there isn't an upgrade to the disc I'll go back and 3 box it.

Because they specifically made it so you can't MGB it. On longer burn fights I find it useful, or as a burst of DPS in group/solo situations. I actually use it more than I thought I would, though the fact you can block the stupid form helps.
I am pretty disappointed with the Group BA since it isn't powerful enough to notice a difference. That and the fact they could have made it cost more and give it more tiers and make it better. Unless 20% is ok with everyone.....because it was 3 tiers 90% dmg mod during beta. I mean considering it doesnt stack with much at all, the 20% doesnt mean much.
I have yet to get GBA but, I am curious, can you use GBA and then use BA?

It was changed recently to 30%.
The timers aren't tied to each other. When I do burns I do BA then EF, then GBA. By the time I get to GBA generally everyone in the group has burned off their discs and it is actually useful to others. I personally tied Frenzy of Spirit with GBA and use them in unison now.
Also while not the reason most people would use it, do not discount that both version of BA include a 20% chance to resist spells, which can at times be handy beyond the damage. GBA also lasts longer than BA does. I just wish I could block the form of BA (like you can with GBA), I like the form (other than I look like a damn ranger) but it grows me which is annoying.
