Hello fellow beastlords.
I read the issues with our lvl 62 and 64 warder focusing in those forums, so I was eagerly waiting to own lvl 68 and 70 warder spells. I am now lvl 69 and can cast lvl 68 warder. I bought an Elaborate Summoner's Ear Stud from PoK merchant with Minion of Darkness focus on it.
Now, when I summon my warder while wearing the ear stud, I do not get "shimmering" or "feels alive" or similar warning message . I am not sure if my warder is enhanced by the focus or not. Other then parsing and comparing warders summoned with and without my ear stud, is there a way to understand if my warders are enhanced by focus ?
The pet's level may change (l blue to d blue, or white), and you can see a change in the max hit w/in a few seconds of fighting the first mob as well.
I think they removed the spell effects both in text and visual for pet focus after a certain level. I know they work as well as most every other bst can attest to. I wouldn't worry unless you see no change in pet con or hit damage. I used to test it by conning the pet with one of my lower level toons one with the focus and another without. That lets me know for shure the focus is working.
