Title: Boxed Bard and Druid, now time for Paladin
Post by: Zorthaz on September 10, 2014, 08:49:43 PM
I have boxed a Bard and also tried a Druid.  Not I am going to try something different and box a Paladin.  I am currently in a fellowship that only has a few tanks (and healers).  My original toon was a Paladin and I just moved him over to my second account.  He is currently 89 and under geared and under AA'ed.  The plan is to level him to 92 when a lot of 2K HP all/all gear becomes available.  At that point I will pause and catch up his AAs.  Then starts the push to 100.  I plan to run him through the RoF T4 group missions to fill all his non-visible slots when he hits 100, plus some non-vis items that drop in the HAs where he will earn points for visible gear.

It will be interesting to see what he will bring to the table.

My Paladin is now 110 with T2 TBL group gear and full GMM non-visibles.  GMM is not the best place to brag about tanking but during a run, I got an overpull with 10 Orcs.  I didn't want to hit any AoE taunts due to all the friendlies on the platform, but it cost me both healer mercs within the first 30 seconds.  So I put the Paladin in full tanking mode and cycled thru all the mobs to get aggro.  The Paladin cycled 2 group heals and his defensive discs/AAs while I went into burn mode on Z.  Once the primary burn on Z was down, I added POS and started my secondary burn.  I had a sigh of relief when the final mob dropped and I got the task update.  Sometimes you find out more about what is possible when you push yourself....or let Z pull...LOL.
