Don't see spell's graphics since GoD

When I or others cast spells now, I don't see them happening in the game.  I have turned on particles many times.  Not sure what the deal is.  Anyone have any ideas?

Try typing "/showspell on"

I had the same problem when GoD was released and typing that fixed it.

maybe with the new patch, it has overwritten your graphics card drivers.  That's if you installed Directx 9 recently.  Easy fix is to install your specific graphics card drivers on top of Directx 9 drivers. It does not remove Dx9. EQ will still recognize its there. Your card however will use the drivers that are made for your card.
