2 boxing on 1 computer

I got the 2 accounts to work on one computer but everything is really fuzzy any way to clear things up?

You could try EQ play nice but haven't heard of things being fuzzy two boxing on one computer. Video drivers up to date?

Saying everything is a bit fuzzy is a bit of a fuzzy statement in itself :wink:
Could you be more specific please, i this point i can only guess at some possibilities. Did you perhaps tune down all the graphic options on both accounts? Maybe you need to play around with your graphic settings to optimize image quality with framerate. When i was still 2boxing on my 1 GHz machine i tuned down all graphics on my 2nd account. I spent most of my time looking thru my beastlords eyes, so having poor image quality on my druids account wasnt much of an issue. Also try turning off as many Luclin models as you can (i'd recommend leaves horses/elementals on tho), these are memory hogs. The performance increase you get from this may allow you to use a higher texture and image quality.

Sorry not being more specific.

I can't read my text box both screens the words are really blurry and hard to read. Sorry about the fuzzy thing (been hanging around shar val alot) I tryed finding a better font but I can't seem to find one I can read and doesn't hurt my eyes to look at. I tryed messing around with settings video settings. Graphics don't seem to be effected to much. Hard to get use to two screens so far.

Just out of curiosity does your monitor work fine/is clear outside the game?

Yes my monitor out side the game looks fine. The main areas that look blurry are the text box and spells. I can't seem to find a decient bold font that is easy to read. I appreciate everyone helping me out.

Never had a problem with fonts looking blurry, I'm still using the default font and have no problem reading it, so i cant really help you there im afraid. A problem like that could very well be specific to your graphics card, in which case making sure you have the most recent drivers is always the first thing to check.

Also, when you said "Hard to get use to two screens so far.", am i understanding correctly that you you're looking at both EQ instances at the same time? (If not then please disregard the following). That would get very confusing indeed. I prefer to have the two windows overlap each other exactly. Easiest way to do that is to open the eqclient.ini files in the main EQ directories and find the entries
WindowedModeXOffset=XXX
WindowedModeYOffset=YYY
and change XXX and YYY to the same values for both instances

Am wondering how large your windows are, relative to the size of the screen, for thems that use EQWindows. I have 2 accounts on 2 different computers but thought about bringing my account count up to 3. Anway, was just curious.

Sorry about the derail. Have you tried adjusting the size of the font yet? Maybe it would make it more legible.

A big thank you to all of you. I got it working. I had to turn off a bunch of graphics and such but things are up and runing pretty well. I did get stuck at the docks last night. Ran down the boat ramp and got stuck on the way down. Think that was a eq problem thought and not a graphics deal.

Again thank you to all and I Appreciate your help. I am running eq windows and My screen is set to full screen on a arial font.
