This small guide is to give an overview of this fantastic zone.  If you can handle doing 65 HARD LDONs for fun now, take a look at this next step.  I made this guide to help get people into Gates, and few places are as fun (and accessible!) as Ferubi.

Flags:
Ferubi is OPEN to all who own Gates of Discord. (A real plus when putting together a group)

Location:
Ferubi is a zone that lies between Qinimi, Barindu, and Riwwi.  The zone entrance you choose is irrelevant, but, depending on what named your looking for, and how much time you have, could be important.

Mobs:
Noc (bonenoses), Kyv (archers), Mastruq (orangedudes), Ukun ("Bring out the Gimp!"), Ra`Tuk (Big and Purple!), and Aneuk (casters) make the majority of trash mobs found in zone.  They range in the north around 61-63rd level, to 64-67 in the deep south.  Pxet (GoatGirls/SnakeGirls) appear as some of the named you will contend with, and are 67+.

EXP:
Few places are as good as Ferubi for pickup-group grinding, it is significantly higher then BoT.

Tactics:
A standard group that can deal with 65 HARD LDON can happily work in Ferubi.
*  Crowd Control (CC) can be either a chanter or bard.
*  MA w/ All Defensive AAs complete (War/Pal/BST/SK) and buffed HP 7400+.
*  Slower can be either BST or Shaman.
*  Healing in Ferubi is a full-time job, and resurrection in the group is a must, so if you don't have a Cleric healing, a Paladin is a boon in the group.  Radiant Cure is helpful as well.  Ideally, a group will have a Druid Cleric.
*  Charming is crucial in Ferubi.  The favored mob in my group of Ferubi-Explorers is Mastruq Warfiend (lower MR, High DPS of the options in Ferubi).  With a Charmed mob, you can increase your killspeed beautifully, and that will help with killing named (the best reason to hang out in Ferubi). *Don't give Charmed Pet Weapons, duel weilding will make them hard to recharm*
*  Resists in Ferubi are very important.  Chaos Claws, Whirl of Claws, and other nasty things can wear down your group, your MA in particular can eat allot of healing mana if his Average Resists are not 150+.  Ferocity can help with this.

Dangers:
*  No Grave Yard, though you could get your body from the girl in Qinimi (shes in a dangerous place when your alone and naked, btw).  Ideally, in a wipe, you should have a rogue for corpse collections.
*  Resists, Chaos Claws, Whirl of Claws, Mastruq Bellow, etc.  Good, balanced resists, are helpful.
*  Intersections, yes intersections.  Very dangerous.  Ukun prowl Ferubi (Ukun are HIGH MR and will often resist mez), and the intersections can be the crossing of 2-3 or MORE Ukuns.  You could walk into a clear intersection, pull 2 static mobs, and 30secs later have 2-3 Ukun's crashing your party, and it can and will overwhelm even the best groups if caught by suprise.  Ideally you would take your time around Intersections, and clear it slowly, before passing through.  Keep this in mind, and Ferubi is much less dangerous.

Quests:
Raid for Weaponmaster (this guide deals with single group stuff, so skipping raid details)

Rewards:
RANDOM DROPS (from any trash mob, about 1 in 500 drop rate estimated)

Are the trash mobs the same as the trash mobs in Riwwi?  Difficulty-wise I mean.

I'm all for GoD evangelisation... Those zones are finally a good alternative to LDoN/PoP.

I really would like to find pick-up groups there, but only people going there are for BiC farming or Trials... and the poor guildies I drag  :D

I would love to see a write up of Vxed/Tipt.

I like Ferubi but its also seems to be to be really a great 2 group spot.

This post helped me and will help my guild very much. We are looking to tread deeper into GoD. Any other guides such as this would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Ok..um..how do you get your corpse? If i am not mistaken most everything in Q does not see invis..It beats doing a CR here.

As far as i know the graveyard npc in qinimi works only within this zone, not over other zones. This is required since there are some trials in qinimi that are not reachable by normal means but are not instanced zones as well.

Enchanters can also slow these mobs and for CR might want to also have a Necro or SK on stand by. There are a few see SoS mobs in Ferubi. Mainly closer to the raid encounter mobs but heard of them spawning in other places also.
