Just some comparative info on aa percent per mob at 70.
(my aa toggle was set at 90%, btw)

After dinging 70, i went back to my old solo spots to check out how the AA was now. At 65, the stormriders and giants in BoT would give me 5% per kill. Now, its merely 3% each. Then i tried CoD. At 65, the mobs at zone gave me 4% per. Now, its 2-3% each.

Then, since i was on my new quest to find a better camp, i  tried Nobles Causeway, where the murkgliders (equal to stormriders in power) gave approximately 3% as well as well as verious other mobs in the zone (between 2% and 3%). I hope to find a place where the mobs give me 5% like before, or at least close.

Check out 1st fort in Fire please =)

That was one area that was soloable, but a bit on the rough side at 65, and mobs were 8% a pop.  I'd be interested to see how they are at 70.

I've been checking out a lot of spots and one thing I'm finding is that there aren't a lot of spots that give the 5/6% AA per hit, but there are still a lot of spots that give 1-2% and the mobs are just silly easy.  With omens once people get their pets and pet haste, etc (and hopefully a couple new spells MIA atm lol) I think we might see more beastlords go back to the old kill rate over % per kill.  I'm still testing certain zones as I can, but it's slow.  8(

I have been doing the murkgliders expedition,  farming runes, and I am getting 5-7% aa per kill.  All lvl 66's.

Tried them out today. The mobs in the first castle give 6% per kill. But it made me nervious to be there. The pathing is very bad in there, plus some of the mobs are too close to pull single. But yes, i was able to kill everthing with usually little downtime. Unless they resisted, of course. At one point i almost crapped my pants cause a mob resisted slow 6 times! I knew i was a gonner but luckily i pulled thru it. Anyway, i was sweating in fear to be in there heh, so im still looking for a safer alternative. It might get better once i learn the pops and all the best locations to pull, but id still prefer a place thats not boxed-in so to speak in case i need to flee.

How do you start an expedition solo? Sounds like something id like to try.

Oneiromancer

You can't start it solo, but you can get friends to help you start it and then they leave.  Or if you start it with some people and they leave and you stay...it'll stay around for as long as you want.

Well, first, you can't really do the murkgliders solo.  You HAVE to have  a snare class.  Everything runs at soe/bard speed.  Agro range is huge.  I find it best to just IVU  to the Tatterwing bat spawn spot, which is the south end of the middle n/s set of tunnels.  Right in the middle of the e/w part of the zone is a pool of water, the tunnel south is the camp spot, and near that pool of water is the second ph/named spot, ph being a hideous rat.

Nothing sees IVU, and only the murkgliders are KOS.  The south  ph/named are not kos, so that is the camp spot.  You can IVU at zi, and head to the sout PH,  there are no KOS in the tunnels, just the open areas, so if IVU starts to drop, just head up or back to a tunnel.

In the n/s tunnel where you are camping, is a single rat that patrols up and down.  He is the first thing to kill, but wait till he is at north end of tunnel (near the open area), else the south PH will assist.  Kill it, go back and kill the  tatterwing bat PH, then head out the tunnel and up on the right corner wall.  Looking left to the pool of water will be 2 mobs, the hideous bat PH and a murkglider.  Just hit one with slow and head back to camp spot.  slow the other then kill both, trying to wait a bit to kill the second.  That way, you wont have to pull 2 again.  That finishes the cycle.  A named rat, Silentpaw (I think is the right name) can spawn at the camp spot.  Non-kos.   The second named is a murkglider by the pool and has a short duration root and a dot. Just pull back to camp spot and kill. Rats and bats hit decently, the non-named murkgliders do not.  The named murkglider is a challange.  Named drop a caster slipper, druid/beast/monk wrist and 66-68 runes.   I generaly come away with 2-6 runes during a 3 hour session.  The cycle is 15 minutes.  If you have a few people, after killing the last Named/add by pool, head east to the tunnel, kill the rat, and then pull the murks from the next room east for exp.  When rat pops back in camp tunnel, the cycle starts again.

Oh, and you get the expedition in  Dranik's Scar.  Named dragorn is between the second and third tunnel along east wall.  Dont remember his name.  Just say "caves" and he will give you one of 3 expeditions.  You want Murkglider Hive.  He will also emote the names of the 2 named.  Just keep dropping expeditions you dont want, and say "caves" again till you ge the hive one.  Then go east in the north of the 3 tunnels, and click on the blackish rock to enter the expedition.  It is a safe area with non-kos mobs in the tunnel ahead.

I do it hydra with my lvl 66 druid and myself.  Druid does snare duty, healing and assist nuking.  I used to also bring my cleric, but now only use her to buff before entering the  expedition as druid heals are fine.

Check out Sol Ro solo..I believe I was getting about 6% per kill solo at 69.

Shirrkarn Ayge

At 70 Sol Ro gives 4 to 5% AA per kill

What kind of gear/spells are needed to solo Sol Ro at 70?  I plan to get the alternate access key for it soon and am only 32% from 70.  I currently have no 69 or 70 spells.  Once I ding 70 and get ND3+PE1 I will break 5k unbuffed.  With self buffs, kei, and conv will this zone be doable?
