I'm on Allas in the General EQ Discussion area and a 30ish beast started a thread to ask about single pulling an orc camp in EW by the bridge.

I simply replied with a couple of options, 2 of them involving Slowing.

The next reply to my post, I get some long term poster on Alla going off on a rant about "Wishing people would quit saying Beasts are the bestslowers" yada yada.

I never said we're bestest slowers in all of EQ so wtf did this rant come from and why direct it at me? Rather than jumping on my tail, he couldn't offer any advice.  OHHH No, that'd be too much like not pissing in someone's Wheaties.  Then, I think he had the gall to infer I was one of those PL beasts who rocketed to 60 in a week!  GAH!

And further, he never even offered ANY advice to the Beast--just used my post as a personal rant tangent and made me feel about 1 inch tall for having the audacicty to suggest that using  at 30 *might* be a possible way to go about reaching his objective.

Try offer some help and someone will always come along and eff up your day.

Anyway, I told the beast he/she/it might want to check the 30 Hunting Grounds HERE for good advice. 

Just had to get that furball out.  Really torqued me out for some reason or another.

i'll have to agree that people on allak are really not always brilliant. a lot of them have high post count cause they been there for almost six years, yet they're all lurkers in a way. they await their prey and jump on them =x

imo, this is what they deserve!
