DoN spell quest

Has anyone figured yet if the new spells listed in the manual are something you buy like you do with LDoN points or if it's somehting else?  Also the manual listed 2 spells for each classes but there's no mention if that's all or if there are more not revealed yet..

Have been a few posts on the General board about this.  The 61 spell is straight out bought with shards...the 69 one is either more expensive than people have seen yet, or requires faction or a quest of some sort.

The lvl 69 spell is gotten through a combination of solo tasks, group tasks and a 24 person raid. Since I know the evil way best i will lay out the way it is obtained.

Before the Dark Reign camp will assign you any tasks you will have to show your dedication to them by doing various solo tasks given by the Alliance camp just east of the Soldung B entrance at roughl 2200, n50. Once there talk to the Erudite or the gnome, they give out soloable missions that when completed result in exp, plat and Dark Reign faction. Once completing a varying amount of these (determined mostly by race and the God that is worshipped) to receive indifferent faction they will stop giving out these soloable tasks. Once this happens you need to head to the Evil camp and talk with the Recruiter Zaerr Ty'Dal. You will follow the text and end up with him asking you to help out with some tasks and send you to the person standing next to him Officer Sirrikis Ryktor. Hail Ryktor and you will recieve 3 tasks that will be soloable to most. These can be seen by opening the Task Window (Alt+Q). These tasks are:

Blood of the Basilisk: Loot 5 Simmering Basilisk Bloods in Tirranun's Delve
Clearing the Path: Kill 8 Stillmoon Drakes in Stillmoon Temple
The Burning Poison: Loot 5 Caustic Lavaspinner Venoms in Lavaspinner's Lair

After completing these 3 tasks, head back to Zaerr Ty'Dal and hail him to receive a character flag. He will then send you to talk to Officer Vacas Rol'Tas which is on his left for you to complete a group mission. This mission is in an instanced zone off of Broodlands and can be done by 3-6 people all will receive credit for accomplishing this if they are at this point of progression

Have Note Will Travel in Tirranun's Delve
Kill goblins while making way across the zone to the other large room. After certain amount of goblins are killed and that part of the zone has been reached than a named will spawn. Kill the named and loot the letter off of him. At this point 3 packs of 3 goblin guards will spawn between this room and the entrance/exit. These 9 goblin guards need to be killed and people need to safely make it out of the zone. Not sure if this part is on a timer, been completed fairly fast all the times i have done it.

Once this mission is done, head back and talk with Zaerr Ty'Dal to receive a character flag and a new AA ... Gift of the Dark Reign - Increase stat caps by 10 (possible raises stats by 10 also)

The next part requires amiable faction with the Dark Reign to continue so if you dont have that than you cannot continue so start getting some groups together and doing group missions to turn in the faction stone ... or kill the good guards. :evil: When amiable is reached, talk to Zaerr to get sent to Ryktor to receive another 3 tasks to complete.

Reap the Kirin Mind: Loot 3 Pristine Kirin Brains in The Ascent

Head back to Zaerr and talk to him again to be sent back to Vacax who will give you another group mission, same rules as before 3-6 and all can get credit if at that spot in progression.

Drake Egg in The Ascent
In this mission you get sent to loot a Drake Egg. This is a random drop from the drakes in the zone (and there aren't that many drakes). Once this egg is looted a goblin guard will spawn at the entrance with two golems standing next to him. Kill the goblin guard and take the Egg back to i believe Celrax in the evil camp and that completes the mission. However there is a catch, i have not yet found an exit out of this instance so bring along a gate potion or a porter of some sort since dropping from mission to get out will cause you to fail and have to start over. Once you turn in the egg you get a character flag.

Talk with the guy that has Dark Reign Events under his name to be given the option of completing a 24 person min raid named "Calling Emoush"

Calling Emoush in Tirranun's Delve
Kill across the zone to the other big room. Inside this room will be an untargetable dervish named Emoush and surrounding him will be 3 Mystics. Work the 3 mystics down simultaneously and kill roughly around the same time, they will become 'unconscious' and Emoush will become active. Burn down Emoush, if you take to long the shamans apparently get back up and Emoush goes back to inactive (at same % you got him down to) and you have to do the Mystics again. Once killed Emoush will drop sub Elemental gear and 6 Stones. Loot a stone. Congratulations.

Return to the Evil camp and turn in the Stone to Zaerr Ty'Dal to receive your next Dark Reign AA .... Tenacity of the Dark Reign - Increase HP/Mana/End 250. Not only that but you will receive your lvl 69 class specific spell for FREE! (if you consider all the work free  :-D)

The group mission and the raid can be done out of order but both need to be done before the spell can be received.

You dont have to do these solo tasks. You can simply do the standard evil group missions to get your faction, plus crystals at the same time.

That's assuming you're grouping with someone indifferent or better who can request the missions.

If not, then you do indeed have to do the solo tasks from the Alliance camp.

is the first AA awarded after doing the Emoush event?

No the first set of aa you get for progression is from the Gimblax deal.  The 2nd is finished after Emoush and you get your 69 spell.  3rd section is after Volkara, but that is as far as I have personally gotten.
