High End Loots

I've created/re-created a list of high-end gear with links and the zone/mob they come from.  I mainly did this because I get tired of digging through websites to find specific drops and it's nice to be on a raid and pull up one list to show what may drop at that time that you can use.  I left out raid mobs who's loot may be considered inferior to the previous expansion's end-zone loot, for example the early mobs in Txevu and the RS dogs.  On the flip-side I've included the Accursed Nest instances due to the quality of their loot, given being able to complete them with 12-18 people.  I've left out shields, quest pieces, and any augs that were not at last 50 hps, including mana augs, excluding proc or dmg/delay augs.  I've no doubt this list is not complete for the mobs given, so feel free to let me know what needs to be added.  I'd prefer not to list any other mobs from the expansions below, or previous expansions, since this forum is geared towards BSTs raiding these zones and not the lesser ones.  When the next high-end expansion come out, and assuming I'm around, I'll update as needed and remove the lowest expansion from the list.  Hope this helps.

Focuses in ( ) after an item, and in a different color, are to indicate an item with the best focus of that type.
This will not include cumulative effects such as CE, SS, FT, Regen, Avoidance, etc.  Having the best focus also does not make it the ideal item for that slot.  For example, the best nuke focus for us is off Yar'Lir's mask, however the only current Cleave 5 effect is off Ture's mask.  So it then becomes:  Do you want the second best nuke focus, or Cleave 4.  I primarily did this because some focuses are hard as hell to come by and it's good to know where they are.

The legs coming primarily from Arch Magus and BP from OMM with a chance to have the opposite piece drop from either. Each piece also requires 2-3 tradable drops, listed with the item.

I love the list, it is definately something we needed.  Just one humble request, though: Could equipment slots be added?  I'd do it myself, but I can't edit your post.  :)

I'll have to think about the slot thing, hehe.  I was trying to keep it very simple, and almost didn't add the focuses for that reason.  I worry that adding slots borders on something worthy of an Excel sheet, which granted would be very nice...

Will see if I can figure out a simple, clean way to do it and find the time as well.

Something myself and Tacyttik were discussing the other night...putting together this list has made one thing glaringly obvious:  The extreme lack of focus effects, especially in end-zones.  If you're just raiding Anguish and the top dragons right now...you're options are minute, not to mention the duplication of some important effects in one slot.  Using my original exampled...the only Cleave 5 focus we know of right now, and the only50% cold focus on the same slot.  Kinda really...sucks.

Just something to consider when we look at the next Top 10 or doing /feedbacks.  I'm curious if it's an issue through all levels or just the high end.  As I recall from PoTime days, there were a decent number of the focuses of the day available.  Another to chalk up to splitting one focus into a detrimental and beneficial one.

Would also be nice to see more healing focuses available to us, even if they're not the Dragon Health version, since we're getting heals bumped up a good deal.

I had noticed the lack of focus as well, but simply thought it was due to the newness of the list and figured some might not have been added, until I started clicking through to the various links.  At least we get +50 worn attack on all items, and Pyrellean Vengeance on BPs. Woo-woo!

sad.. only two mana pres are detrimental only. no beneficial mana pres at all. not even a complete mana pres that does both. sucks when you have to use either an oow aug or don aug. cold focus better then epic (which is already known to the whole community), only one healing focus (even though we're getting a near 1k heal) and a single EE focus if you dont raid txevu/tacvi.  :roll: i'll say hello /feedback once i get my account back it seems =x
