Ikkniz 2 - Raid - Glorification.

Ikkinz 2 raid - Glorification


Basic summary of tactics to start.


First off the map





Two mobs near first door, both will come.
Soon after in first corridor is first named, Pixxt Assault Warder, hits 3.2K max (no def) needs a ramp tank.
Next pull the first two rooms, one on left first then right (as you go down corridor).
Once cleared might have to wait on repop, not that essential though.
The next three neamed must die within a short time frame, res afterwards!
Move into the left room, hugging left wall, through the red curtain - still hugging, and engage and kill named Visionary of glorification. NOTE RANGE FIGHT after 51%. Watch for the infuriated emote.
Immediately move over to south part of room through red curtain and repeat.
Now cross the corridor hug the East wall get tank to pull VoG to NE corner, pets push in and kill.
The three above named have low HP, reasonable high DPS.
A loot drops here!
Also some tablets, have a single person collect these tablets, and later the box. Need someone with room for the box.

Next pull the Pixxt Condemner to the room, this mob casts an unresistable AE silence that lasts 2 ticks, its a bit rough but should be ok as low HP's.

This mob drops Faded Glyph Tablet container - combine the three drops from earlier in this and use this tablet on the next door to enter it.

Med up and move the raidinto corridor to the corner outside the round room.

Clear the next room and fight next named SEntinal of Glorification, nothing scary here, though has gflux - DMF required.
IIRC this guy drops loot and tablet required for door behind him, use tablet to open door.

Now the fun begins, up to now is easy.

After the med move into the corridor and turn north to outside the room with Guardian of Glorification.

Guardian is permarooted, has massive dps, summons, low HP and cant be pre-debuffed. Hits very fast for 3k, also has AE ramp and 3 x 3k AE, and gfluxes. This is a very bad golem.

This is basically a zerg fight, his DPS is way to high for most warriors at this stage. Use rangers to WS, heavy nuking everything you can to get him down to 50%. May want to keep a paladin in corridor camped.

At 50% he splits in two, at this point EVERYONE runs back into the corridor and hugs east wall. Pet owners be very careful pls.

Now in the room are two golems and 6 small horn guys. Kill the hornguys with bows and nukes without entering the room, do this while you are ressing and rebuffing the many dead. These guys are rooted and dont summon, just dont get near the golems.


After these 6 down ists time to take out the golems, have raid move into the NE cornerand set up there.
Now here the fun really starts, these golems are easy enough to split however tanking the first one is tricky.
Reverse wall tank in the middle, avoid the corners as mob will warp, do not push once tank engaged. This mob will split into two smaller guys once dead, be warned these are both hit hard as well, expect to loose people when the split happens, tanks must react super fast to save people. Again the splitters will warp around being a pain, you must tank them in open near staircase. Burn one fast then kill other. Dont be afriad to camp a pally.

Loot, Med and buff in NE corner again.

Repeat the above on other mob, however tank this one at its spawn point, it is far far easier to do this, again it splits.

More loot more resses and your done.

At the West end of room 6 skulls pop, loot the shards as need later on.

Healing notes - stating the obvious you cant CH on the mobs that Gflux, which is all in the last room.

All named appear unslowable, shamans dont go killing yourself.

Roamers - there are quite a few, including in the corridor outside final room, you might want a CC person to patrol there when engbage to create a safe res spot.

Loot is comparable to better than Time loot, certainly much better than EP's. It is comparable to Zun Mruam Volkana in RCoD.

Grats you have finished Gloriifcation Ikkinz raid 2.

Enjoy, completed this with 42 EP geared people, only 2 Wars 6 clerics and 1 monk, no bard either. Still waiting to get into the Time rota :)

I'm almost certain the hornblowers become targetable when the named golem is at 90%. Makes it a lot easier.

Excellent strat, thx.  My guild completed Ikky 2 on our first try.  Not that it wasn't without frustrations....like dragging one Visionary thru the healer/caster crowd while it was infuriated (ouch!!) or the mage who kept insisting that ONLY a research toon could do the combine to unlock that first door.  He then suicided against instructions to go back to the bank to get his research tome, gotta love those unnecessary delays one after another to lengthen a raid....

One thing to add to the guide.  The AE silence from the Pixxt Condemner can be avoided.  After it was cornered in the SE corner of the room, a couple of our people tried hiding behind the pillar or whatever those are protruding from the walls.  They said the AE silence missed them.  There might be better places to tank him where the geometry offers even more protection to casters if anyone wants to explore that, but we could at least confirm the pillars in the Visionary room do block it.  Also, the horn guys often partially resisted my cold nukes, but every single poison dot cast on them landed.
