I currenly play a Qvic / anguish geared necro and a time / god geared druid... Ive been looking for a class to throw into the mix when I cant kite my way out of trouble...

Beastlord seems like a reasonable choice... it offers slows / mana regen, and a decent tank..

Just looking for some in-put on this, before I spend time lvling him up

Funny you should mention that trio....at least I am guessing trio; you didn't actually say you are 2 boxing the nec/dru. I have boxed a Bst/Dru for a long time. Added a necro as an alt and just yesterday SoE moved the necro to a third account. The biggest thing I can see is it will be a big pardigm shift from kiting mobs to tanking them. The trio itself should be good but one thing you will have to really watch is pulling aggro from the Bst.

With shammy focus and vic I break 10k hp as a casual non raider and have tanked quite a few things at this level. As with any class AAs will make a big difference especially the first 100-200 where your Bst should get the defensive AAs knocked out and a few other things like paragon.

I guess another option for tank for you could be a Ranger with the idea that you could still kite and get the bow DPS out of him. The lack of slow would be telling when you had to tank though. My guild lacks a real tank an myself or our ranger will typically fill that slot. We are similarly geared (progression wise), similar number of AAs (500-600), the ~same hp, and usually require the same amount of heals. The biggest difference is on named where his ~400 more shown AC comes into play giving just just enough margin for success in some cases.
