Ermaach

I was wondering what all spell sets you guys used. If you wouldn't mind list what you use that set for, and what all spells are on that set. I just recently started playing a beastlord and am interested in seeing how I should set up.

Any help is appreciated, thanks before hand.

Are you looking for a high-end spellset, or something lower level?

If it's high end, my generic setup is:

1 -- Growl of the Panther
2 -- Promised Mending (Yes, I use it)
3 -- Ruthless Ferocity
4 -- Minohten Mending
5 -- Spiritual Enlightenment
6 -- Sha's Legacy
7 -- Ancient: Savage Ice
8 -- Spiked Sleet
9 -- Bestial Empathy

That changes on raids, but that's what I use most often.

Nusa

My generic setup for raiding looks like this:
1- slow
2- nuke
3- nuke
4- Bestial Empathy
5- fero
6- feral guard (pet summon in pet setup) (invis in travel setup) (focus in buff setup)[ utility slot ]
7- heal
8- Growl of the Panther (pet haste in pet setup)(SV in buff setup)
9- SA (pet proc in pet setup) [ utility slot ]

Most of my setups only change slots 6,8,9, so I always have key spells memmed. If I solo, I may stick DoT's in the utility slots, but they're not formal sets.

Only level 72 so far, so I've not dealt with all the new spells yet.

Shieara

For general soloing/Exping at level 70

1. Healing of Mikkily
2. Ferocity
3. Muada's Mending
4. Growl or the Panther
5. Feral Vigor
6. Frost Spear/Sha's Legacy/Festering Malady/Chimera Blood depending on content
7. Bestial Empathy
8. Sha's Revenge
9. Glacier Spear

I am relatively gimp though.

For raiding I used to use basically the same setup, but I would drop the regen (putting in feral guard) and usually load the level 70 slow.  If I was on SA duty I put that in where my 2nd nuke would go.

Shamno

pet proc
pet haste
pet heal
nuke
nuke
Growl
Fero
heal
BE

the 2nd nuke, growl and fero get switched oiut depending on the situations....such as tanking, slowing, buffing etc. The main setup though is my DPS setup.

hakaaba

pet slow
growl of the panter
incapacitate (or a situational buff)
slow
bestial empathy
ice nuke
pet heal
player heal
ancient: ice nuke

It changes slightly for solo and raids of course

Posting my two raid setups, as I was tired and didn't complete my first post in this thread.

For "endurance" fights:

1 -- Growl of the Panther
2 -- Promised Mending
3 -- Ruthless Ferocity
4 -- Minohten Mending
5 -- Healing of Uluanes
6 -- Spiritual Enlightenment
7 -- Ancient: Savage Ice
8 -- Spiked Sleet
9 -- Bestial Empathy

For "burn" fights:

1 -- Growl of the Panther
2 -- Bestial Empathy
3 -- Ruthless Ferocity
4 -- Spiked Sleet
5 -- Ancient: Savage Ice
6 -- Glacier Spear
7 -- Ancient: Frozen Chaos
8 -- Trushar's Frost
9 -- Frost Spear

I consider an Endurance fight to be something like Hatchet, Roley, Sullon Zek, Hanvar, Jelvan (If you balance them), or Rathe Council (old school). I consider Burn fights to be something like Redfang, Zi-Thuuli, or Gnarlibramble.

Jequec

1)Heal
2)Pet Heal (Promised or Blast, depending on situation)
3) BE
4) Sleet
5) Ancient Ice
6) Glacier Spear
7) S. Enlightenment
8) Slow (again, Sha's or Steeltrap--whatever I think is needed)
9) level 65 fero

That's in a raid scenario where I forgo the use of Growl (since I usually have a shaman championing me/pet). If I were solo, I'd replace SE down there with Growl.

Kanan

my setup's all kindsa fubar ;p

1) nuke
2) SE
3) BE/3rd nuke (rare to do latter)
4) Pet heal
5) Growl
6) nuke/slow (nuke for raids/dps groups, slow for solo/slowing groups)
7) Targetable heal
8) Utility slot (pet rune, buff, etc)
9) Fero, tho I dunno why I bother anymore.  I never cast it.

Kenusten

1.) Growl of Panther
2.) Nuke
3.) Dot
4.) Incapacitate
5.) Slow
6.) Pet heal
7.) Heal
8.) Ferocity
9.) Bestial Empathy

My primary role is tanking or back up tanking.  I use slow and incapacite to help with aggro.  My biggest cold nuke shortly helps with that too.  Have to hold of on growl so aggro doesn't switch when I cast it.  BTW,  mana flare from an enc helps with aggro and DPS too (for hyrbids anyway).  Get DD or lifetap augs in your weapons to give mana flare a better chance of proccing.  It also procs on shaman panther, so if you are in a group with a shaman and an enc, get shaman panther and mana flare.  Note  only works on hybrids, not pure melee or bards.

Never really cast fero on myself, but there are a couple of attack junkies in guild and I also use it to boost resists when someone is poorly geared.

so champion and Growl stack? or Just won't block each other and you get the better benefit of each slot?

1 70 slow
2 heal
3 nuke
4 haste
5 fero
6 growl
7 nuke
8 pet heal
9 BE

in raids I swap out haste for SA because someone is always dying

Champion and Growl of the Panther stack, but you only get the higher All Skills Damage modifier. For those that have maxed str/agi/dex with gear and normal buffs and run Growl, the only remaining benefit from Champion is the 140 attack bonus.

Standard combat set
1 growl of panther
2 pet heal
3 target heal
4 incapacitate
5 slow
6 highest level poison dot
7 next highest level poison dot
