The results are up.

While the lengths of the parses differ (one is 15hrs, the other is 9), I don't think it's going to make a difference. If it's requested, I'll shorten the long one or lengthen the short one, but I don't expect anything to change.

I also believe these results are inaccurate for a Beastlord, simply because we are casting more instead of doing nothing but melee all the time. We won't see a 54 DPS increase because we'll be casting a lot more than anyone else.

I also plan on running these parses again as a high end rogue that I'm going to borrow, to see what kind of return they get.

I despize casting ferocity. It wastes my time and a spell slot, only time i bother casting is if we are doing a 'blow it up run' then ill slap it on my 2 targets who are a rog and a monk. The duration stinks,the cast time blows and the recast timer is rediculous. It is THE most useless spell memmed on normal raids for me. I really wish they would fit it. WHY oh why is there a silly recast timer???

I'll add all that in once I'm done parsing. I just finished a parse, buffed with basically raid buffs minus ranger stuff, and then I'm going to do another with Ferocity added onto that.

Any new parses? would really love to see a rogue and zerker in full burn mode compared with and without ferocity (yes, i know you need to automate some hotkeys for that).

It's vacation time at my store, and lucky for me, I get to cover most of it. My personal time is about nil and my raid attendance is suffering as well. I haven't forgotten about this but I just don't have the energy most times to get it all set up. Fortunately most of it should be wrapping up soon and it'll be my turn.  :-D

The summary here was that it sucked. If you check the dates, these were from last expansion.

Nothing's changed.

Hey I am not seeing any links to the parses? Were they removed? Do you still have them and could I get them? I know the spell sucks but I'd like to see some numbers if I could to share with my guildmates.

So I make no grave mistake if I continue to just ignore the spell?  8-)

Well it comes up from time to time.

Best bet is to get it off 2-3 times before starting an event and then Fpara yourself and tell anyone who wants it during teh fight to buzz off.

I just was looking for some hard numbers - I just was being lazy and didn't wanna parse >.<

I had a few numbers I parsed but I no longer have access to them and can't remember the details /shrug

Without Fero @ 3084 atk
Test Ninety in 11712s, 16692k @1425dps --- Latang 11050k @943dps --- Latang`s pet 5642k @483dps (got bored waiting, and not much changed)

With Fero @ 3552 atk
Test Ninety in 21105s, 30363k @1439dps --- Latang 20384k @966dps --- Latang`s pet 9979k @473dps

Did them the day testcopy worked again. Posted them in guild board, and had no requests for fero since. Haven't memmed it since March, and no-one wants it now.

Weapon was fabled mainhand, tinkerson h2h offhand.

Also I had changed aa a bit to raise attack cap for 2nd test, hence the discrepancy. Purpose of it was to see if I needed to max the attack raising aa. So far it's still at zero...

The following was done by Lillpiggy during UF beta, all credit to him/her.  If it's not cool to be posting it please feel free to delete.  Sorry for any messed up formatting.  (This is on a beastlord, pure melee classes will gain more)

Setup for all parses

    * Target: Test Dummy level 98, mitigation increase 50x
    * Duration: over 8 hours for each parse to mitigate spikes
    * AAs: All relevant offensive AAs are max'd
    * Weapons: Soulsunder and Lessonteacher (+4 dmg aug on both)

Scenario 1: Sustained

Parse 1: Without Ferocity

Buff List:

    * Might of Stone II
    * Ancestral Memories III
    * Unity Rk. II
    * Yowl of the Predator Rk. II
    * Strength of the Tracker Rk. II
    * Hastening of Erradien Rk. II

ATK: 3286

Parse time = 34054s = 9h 27m 34s
Accuracy: 113373 / 143719 = 78.9%
Crit rate: 20794 / 113373 = 18.3%
DPS from weapons: 1711.4

       Min     Avg    Max
Normal 166     377  588
Crit      460    1119 1783

Parse 2: With Ferocity

Buff List:

    * Same as above
    * Savage Ferocity Rk. III

ATK: 3784

Parse time = 33688s = 9h 21m 28s
Accuracy: 112024 / 142392 = 78.7%
Crit rate: 20615 / 112024 = 18.4%
DPS from weapons: 1787.9
       Min     Avg     Max
Normal 166   395     588
Crit     460     1168 1783

Summary of Scenario 1 (sustained):

Average normal hit boosted from 377 to 395 = 4.777%
Average crit hit boosted from 1119 to 1168 = 4.378%
Melee DPS boosted from 1711.4 to 1787.9 = 76.6 (4.470%)

Scenario 2: Full Burn

Parse 1: Without Ferocity

Buff List:

    * Might of Stone II
    * Ancestral Memories III
    * Pact of the Wurine
    * Third Spire of the Savage Lord
    * Bestial Alignment
    * Frenzy of Spirit
    * Unity Rk. II
    * Ancestral Aid
    * Yowl of the Predator Rk. II
    * Strength of the Tracker Rk. II
    * Auspice of the Hunter
    * Hastening of Erradien Rk. II
    * War March of Brekt Rk. II
    * Quick Time

    * Ancient: Cry of Chaos

ATK: 5161

Parse time = 29079s = 8h 4m 39s
Accuracy: 128633 / 152690 = 84.2%
Crit rate: 31013 / 128633 = 24.1%
DPS from weapons: 5688.6

        Min  Avg   Max
Normal  187  850   1209
Crit      535  2656  3827

Parse 2: With Ferocity

Buff List:

    * Same as above
    * Savage Ferocity Rk. III

ATK: 5659

Parse time = 39380 = 10h 56m 20s
Accuracy: 173891 / 206790 = 84.1%
Crit rate: 41953 / 173891 = 24.1%
DPS from weapons: 5768.3

           Min   Avg  Max
Normal  187  862     1209
Crit      535    2703  3827

Summary of Scenario 2 (full burn):

Average normal hit boosted from 850 to 862 = 1.392%
Average crit hit boosted from 2656 to 2703 = 1.739%
Melee DPS boosted from 5688.6 to 5768.3 = 79.7 (1.382%)

One worthwhile note is that crits bonus' effects don't seem to carry over, it's essentially the same % boost for normal as well as crit hits. Therefore melee class' crit rates are irrelevant when considering the effects of Ferocity.
