we do the mm everday.  but just can't decide on a good zone to go kill in

I'd suggest the animals in old FoB. If you have your clickie iksar masks you should be fine to hunt in there. Even if you don't just avoid the iksars and the rest of the mobs that aren't scaled wolves birds snakes or scorpions.
